Welcome to Five Starr Pilates & Fitness!
Five Starr Pilates & Fitness
The success of any Pilates program depends upon continuity, presence and accountability. The Five Starr Pilates & Fitness Client Intake package ensures a strong foundation enabling you to reach your goals and perfect your technique. The intake forms present the guidelines for fees, scheduling, cancellation, punctuality and safety. All of these elements are important issues to anyone receiving professional services at Five Starr Pilates studio. Most people can find excuses to avoid exercise. By upholding the foundation of this contract, you agree to honor your own progress. These policies are strictly enforced. To help our studio run efficiently, please note the following policies.
The studio accepts cash, checks and Visa/MasterCard/Discover. There is a $35 fee for returned checks. No refunds.
If you have a change of physical condition or new medication, it is important to let the instructor know ahead of time so that appropriate precautions can be taken. Likewise, if safety hazards present themselves during a session/class, your session/class may be halted until the problem is resolved. You are obligated to inform the instructor of any pain, discomfort, fatigue or any other symptoms that you may suffer during and immediately after participation. You may stop or delay participation in any activity if you so desire, and you may also be requested to stop and rest by the instructor who observes any symptoms of distress or abnormal response. The session/class is forfeited without refund if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol during a session/class.
All sessions are booked in advance. Payment is expected in full before or on the date of the first session. Payments are non-refundable and expire within 3 months of initial purchase. To extend the expiration date of a package due to expire, we will extend the date if a package of the same size or larger is purchased. No refunds.
From time to time we will offer outrageous specials to new clients. We love our existing clients and will offer you the best of the best in value and instruction, but please respect that each client is eligible for only one introductory offer.
Sessions cancelled without 12-hour notice are forfeited. Sessions cancelled with 12-hour notice may be rescheduled. Cancellations may be done by telephone or using our online booking system. Monthly access members will be charged a $10.00 Late Cancel or “No Show” fee for late cancellations or “No Shows”.
The instructor is not obligated to make up time due to lateness. More than10 minutes tardiness constitutes a late cancellation in Pilates and 5 minutes in cycling, and the instructor is not obligated to conduct the session. In some cases, the instructor will wait and work with you for the remaining time. However, this is solely up to his/her discretion. In either case, you will be charged fully for the session.
